Ferretti Shoe Haul

Next to diamonds, a pair of shoes can easily be a woman's best friend.

Ferretti was generous enough to give 3000php worth of gift certificates to every blogger who walked for the brand during the Glorietta Vibe Fashion Show.

I had a hard time choosing as there were a lot of nice pairs to choose from. I limited my search into high-heels because I need extra elevation with my 5'2'' height. Haha! I also have to consider the comfort and the design because I want something that I can easily pair up with any outfit.

The pictures above were some of my choices. I was tempted to get the mustard satchel because it looks so classy! After several minutes of contemplating, I ended up with...

Ta-daaaaa!

The first two pairs from the left were my picks. I got the neon pomelo wedges during the Glorietta Vibe Fashion Show.

Stacey, 1199php - The color of these wedges is very striking and unique. It can brighten up any boring outfit! I walked with this for several hours during the Glorietta Vibe Fashion Show and I did not experience any discomfort at all.

Merida, 1499php - The woven details caught my eye instantly. I just had to get this because it is very lightweight and comfy! I can easily wear this with any outfit because of the color and design. This is my favorite among the three pairs because it gives me just the right amount of elevation without any pain or discomfort at all. I've worn this several times already!

1499php - If I am not mistaken, this pair is 5 inch high. But since these are platform heels, walking was not that difficult. I was a bit uneasy the first time I walked with it but I got used to it as the day went by. discomfort was minimal and manageable. I love the design of this pair - simple and sexy!

I love every pair I got from Ferretti. I never expected to find comfort and ease from high-heeled shoes! Thank you so much Ferretti!

When I need extra confidence boost, I go grab a pair of high heels. What is your confident booster? Flats or high-heels? Let me hear your thoughts by commenting below!

Glorietta Vibe Fashion Show: Breaking a World Record

Photo from AVA

November 29, 2012 will probably one of the most memorable days of my entire existence. It's the day I get to participate in breaking a world record - FOR THE MOST PEOPLE WALKING ON A CATWALK.  It was a great opportunity to be invited to walk for Ferretti, one of Glorietta's merchants for a record-breaking event. Thanks Liz! With a total of 2255 models to catwalk, Philippines was able to beat Turkey's 1967 models. The huge fashion show was Glorietta's way of launching its newest, poshest wing - The New Glorietta Vibe. Read more here.

Makeup was done at Rustans. MAC, Bobbi Brown, Estee Lauder and Clinique have agreed to do the makeup for Ferretti bloggers. Liz Lanuzo of Project Vanity and I were stationed at the Clinique counter. A separate post about the  products used will be made. I forgot to ask the name of the lady who did my makeup. She has great makeup skills! I think she looks like Ynez Veneracion. Don't you agree?

Clean makeup look, check! I was very happy with my makeup especially the brows. I was having a crazy breakout during that time due to PMS and she was able to conceal it. Greaaat! Thanks a lot Clinique!

A brown and black smokey eye was done for Liz. I envy her long lashes! Liz used two types of mascara to achieve such voluminous lashes. She even taught me her mascara trick in achieving fuller and longer-looking lashes.

Up on the Estee Lauder counter are..

Ate Zel, Social Media Specialist at Yehey who also happens to be my schoolmate in UP Baguio.

Kumiko of Loving Sunshine

Ana Victorino was made up the MAC counter. Just look at her eye makeup! No doubt it's MAC!

Her eye makeup was stunning. And she has the longest pair of lashes I've ever seen. She's using Sophia too.

Michelle Bugante of Mich Eats and Shops was made up at MAC as well.

Here are some of Ferretti's items which I find very nice!

Shoe-shaped rings are fashionable, don't you think?

This pair of nude pumps embellished with gold glitters is very eye-catching!

We were asked to wear an all black outfit. I paired a corset from Chicadora with a lacy skirt that I borrowed from a friend (thanks Keith!). A pair of neon peach wedges were assigned to me which I find very comfy to walk with! The color is very striking too!

All glammed up Zelina! I sticked with her almost the entire time as I don't know anyone personally from the group. It's a bit intimidating to be around famous beauty bloggers. Hihi. Thanks ate Zel for treating me like a little sister!

The charming Rhea Bue of Bebe-Doll.Net! She laughing and giggling all the time.

We waited at the holding area for several minutes to almost an hour before the event actually began.

The event commenced around 6PM and the rest was history! Congratulations to Ayala Malls, Move to the Vibe Fashion Show, AVA for a successful event! Philippines now holds the Most People Walking on a Catwalk World Record. Thanks to Ferretti, Clinique and of course, Liz! It was humbling to participate in such momentous event.
