Confession...

I must confess that I've been into make-up lately. Is make-up to blame for my loss of interest over nail art? Well, not really. Heeeee. I still can't find the answer to that.I did not really fall out of love with nail art. I just grew...tired? uninspired? I don't know the perfect to describe my feeling. Haha.

Moving on...I have some exciting news to share with you! As an early gift for myself, I bought a make-up brush set from Divisoria!! It's a faux MAC 15pc brush-set for only 400 pesos. It was very cheap. Other stalls from Divisoria sell a 15pc brush set for 800-900php so it was a good find. Aside from the brush set, I also bought a retractable Kabuki brush for 90php (originally 100php, haggle!). It was very, very soft and dense! It was my favorite purchase from my Divisoria trip.

Very professional-looking when it's closed. Hehehe. Too bad I wasn't able to open my Kabuki brush in the picture!

The brushes complete with plastic coverings. I will be making a separate post for the review of these babies.

I already tried them out. The make-up look I created is a product of these brushes.

I used my sister's palette to create the look. I want to have my own set of palettes soon. I am dreaming of owning a 96-color palette from DollFace Cosmetics which costs 900php only! I am out of budget atm because of my recent purchases. Jeeeeeeeeeeez. I am hoping and praying that my sister would get me the palette for my birthday.

Upon buying the make-up brushes, I remembered the first time I had my nail art brushes. I had the same feeling-excited, giddy, kilig feeling (click this for post on nailart brushes). I am just hoping that I wouldn't end up giving away my make-up brushes the way I did with my nailart brushes just because I lost interest. Hmm.

Goodnight!

Come back post

Hello! It's been several months since I last posted here. I don't know why but..I just lost the interest of doing nail art. My nail polishes grew cold and lonely! I paint my nails once in a while but that's it. JUST PAINT IT PLAINLY. I also gave away my nail art brushes and acrylic paint because I don't think I would use it anymore. Hmmmm :|

So why am I still here? Hahaha. I still don't have the answer to that. I just felt like blogging. I am planning to turn this into a personal blog where I can post things other than nail art.

As a come back post, I will show you five nail designs which were done in the past. Here they are!

#1 Copper/Gold Glitter Nails: It's loaded with lots of glitters!

#2 Floral Nail Decals: Are these Cherry Blossoms?

#3 Watermelon Acrylic Design: Epic fail. Now you know why I gave away my acrylic stuff!

#4 White, gray and black gradient: Reminds me of cement

# 5 Peacock!

That's it! I hope I can blog again soon :>

Orange nails and orange walls

These nails were done during the repainting of our house. Our walls were painted orange, haha yes, annoying orange! But it looked good, eventually. Got used to it! And so I also painted my nails with the same shade of orange. I loved it! Which is unusual. :)

I used Caronia Sun Kissed. The photos are not color accurate. They appeared brighter than the actual.

I looooooooooove it! But I took it off after 2 days cause it annoys me at times. :p I don't know what's with orange. But it gets annoying.

Stamped it with zebra prints. And I tried the watercolor effect on my thumb. I didn't do it well. It was lumpy!!

That's it! Good night!

Christmas nails!

Goodevening! Can't believe my last post was dated last October 26, time flies fast! School and business kept me really busy. But that doesn't mean my love for nail art is gone, haha! For tonight, I'll show you a stamping a mani. It's simple and Christmas-y. I used Ulta brandywine and stamped it with my favorite white polish.

That's it! I will be posting more of my past manis soon! 3 days to go before Christmas! Happy Holidays!
