Halloween Makeup Collaboration: Iza Calzado (Celebrity Inspired Theme)

Here's the final installment of my Halloween Makeup Collaboration with Jannie of Jannieology, Misha of The Touch of Yellow and Eyah of Eyahnism. Celebrity-Inspired makeup look is our final theme. Don't forget to check out my previous makeup looks for this makeup collaboration! (Animal theme: Black Bunny, Scary doll theme: Walking Dead)

My makeup is inspiration is the beautiful Iza Calazado. I chose a local female celebrity because I think it's a lot easier to achieve.

I'm loving her bronzed makeup look on the Rouge July 2012 issue. It's so simple yet very stunning!

In order to copy Iza's naturally deep-set eyes, I used a warm brown eye shadow on my crease. I used a white and light yellow eye shadow to highlight my brow bone and lids. I made my brows longer and a bit thicker to resemble Iza's makeup look. I also added a wingtip eyeliner and falsies. Pretty simple, right?

I used NYX SMLC in London and Laura Mercier Lip Gloss to achieve Iza's nude lips.

Echuserang froglet. Konting tangos pa ng ilong at ayos ng buhok hahaha.

For the cheeks, I just contoured and added a bronzer. Done!

More vanity...

Sorry for the messy hair. I am too lazy to recreate Iza's big curls.

Halloween Makeup Collaboration: Black Bunny (Animal Theme)

I am very excited to share with you another makeup collaboration with fellow beauty bloggers. Jannie of Jannieology, Eyah of Eyahnism, Mhisha of The Touch of Yellow and yours truly have agreed to do a series of Halloween makeup looks. We came up with four different Halloween makeup looks. Animal is our first theme. Stayed tuned for the other three!

I chose to be a black bunny just because I already have these ears. I DIY-ed the bunny ears a year ago for a hat party. I just played with an old pair of black stockings and bendable wires. DIYs are fun!

I focused on the eyes for my bunny look. I did a black and silver smokey eyes which is so easy to do! Winged my eyeliner and added demi-lashes. I wanted to draw a black circle for my nose but the nose of bunnies are Y-shaped. I used WetnWild Think Pink for my lips to compliment my dramatic eye makeup. I used a hot pink eye shadow from my DollFace palette for my cheeks. Yes, eye shadow for my cheeks!

Do I look like a bunny or a mouse? Hihihi. You be the judge! This look is very appropriate for night-outs, smokey eyes+pale lips. Would you agree? :)

I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I did while creating this look. Can't wait for the next three themes to be unleashed in the following weeks! Collabs are really fun!

September Lovin: Introduction

I have some exciting news for you! I participated in a collaboration with two other beauty bloggers. We agreed to come up with different challenges every week for the whole month of September. Exciting, right?

Now, let me introduce to you the two lovely bloggers I participated with:

Impression: I thought she was snob and mataray. Hihihihi. Well I first impressions never last. I got to know Michelle/Micmic through Chel's collaboration post with her. And I instantly followed her! I see her as a guide to the beauty blogging. I'm a newbie! When I've got questions about blogging (sponsorships, ads, etc) which I can't openly ask to other bloggers, I ask her, without hesitation (kapal muks lang). She's really accommodating and kind to answer my questions. I love how versatile her blog is. From food to makeup! I love reading her reviews as well. Go check out her blog!

Impressions: I think Chel is really passionate in beauty blogging. Her eagerness to share about her discoveries, experiences and thoughts on makeup is always seen through her posts. I admire that at young age (18 turning 19! hehehe), she is able to express and share her passion through beauty blogging. I also admire her honesty and truthfulness. Even if I do not personally know her yet, I can say that she is a true person. She is not afraid to pour her heart out. With your passion, I know you will go a long way, Chel!

My message to the Michelles: I hope our cyber friendship wouldn't be limited in cyberspace alone. I would like to meet you soon ladies! More power to your blogs! May God continually guide and bless you with your endeavors in life. ♥

That's it for the short introduction! Make sure to visit their blogs too. Stay tuned as we share with you our first challenge next Wednesday!
